Job summary

BlueLinx Corporation is hiring independent-minded drivers for a first-shift, home-every-night role in Oklahoma City. You will drive flatbed or curtain side trailers, secure loads (no tarping), and deliver freight with accuracy while handling customer returns.

We offer a guaranteed $249 per day, modern equipment, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401K, PTO and holidays, plus tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Minimum 12 months of verifiable tractor trailer experience in the past 3 years.
• Safe driving record.
• Ability to secure loads and perform DOT inspections.

Responsibilities

• Properly secure loads. NO tarping – ONLY strapping.
• Double/Triple endorsement preferred.
• Accurate and timely delivery of freight and handling of customer product returns.
• Manage Proof of Delivery paperwork from customers.
• Interact professionally with customers and communicate issues.
• Maintain daily safety checklist and complete DOT inspections.
• Maintain electronic logbook and complete trip reports.
• Direct unloading by customers when required.

What You’ll Deliver

• Properly secure loads. NO tarping – ONLY strapping

How You’ll Deliver

• 12 months of recent verifiable tractor trailer experience in the past 3 years

• Ability to work in all weather conditions
