Job summary

BlueLinx Holdings Inc. in Texas is seeking professional Class A CDL drivers. Home nightly and weekends, with a fixed starting pay rate of $26.83 per hour, and first shift hours in a safe, well‑equipped operation.

You will securely strap loads (no tarping), deliver freight accurately, manage POD paperwork, and interact professionally with customers while completing DOT inspections and logs daily.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Minimum 21 years of age.
• 12 months of verifiable tractor trailer experience in the past 3 years.
• Safe Driving Record is required.
• Ability to secure loads.

Responsibilities

• Properly secure loads. NO tarping – ONLY strapping.
• Accurate and timely delivery of freight and handling of customer product returns when required.
• Manage Proof of Delivery paperwork from customers.
• Interact professionally with customers and communicate customer issues.
• Maintain daily safety checklist and perform all required DOT inspections.
• Maintain electronic logbook and complete trip reports.
• Direct the unloading by customers, when required.
