Job summary

BlueLinx Corporation in Georgia seeks an experienced Class A CDL driver for home nightly routes. Expect daily guaranteed pay of $232 with steady year-round work and modern equipment.

Positions require 12 months of verifiable tractor trailer experience, a safe driving record, and the ability to secure loads in all weather. Responsibilities include accurate freight delivery, handling customer returns when required, DOT inspections, and maintaining logs.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL and maintain a clean driving record.
• At least 12 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience in the past 3 years.
• Ability to secure loads and perform DOT inspections when required.

Responsibilities

• Properly secure loads. NO tarping – ONLY strapping.
• Accurate and timely delivery of freight and handling of customer product returns when required.
• Manage Proof of Delivery paperwork from customers.
• Interact professionally with customers and communicate customer issues.
• Maintain daily safety checklist and perform all required DOT inspections.
• Maintain electronic logbook and complete trip reports.
• Direct the unloading by customers, when required.
