Job summary

BlueLinx Corporation is seeking drivers to join our team in the United States. You will be responsible for secure, on-time delivery of freight, handling customer returns, and maintaining DOT-compliant logs and safety checks.

We offer Home every night and weekend, competitive starting pay of $30.76 per hour, first shift hours, and access to modern equipment plus comprehensive benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401K, PTO, holiday pay and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Minimum 21 years old.
• 12 months of verifiable tractor trailer experience in the past 3 years.
• Safe Driving Record.
• Ability to secure loads.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Properly secure loads. No tarping – only strapping.
• Accurate and timely delivery of freight and handling of customer product returns when required.
• Manage Proof of Delivery paperwork from customers.
• Interact professionally with customers and communicate customer issues.
• Maintain daily safety checklist and perform all required DOT inspections.
• Maintain electronic logbook and complete trip reports.
• Direct the unloading by customers, when required.
