Job summary

zTrip seeks a Driver Manager to recruit, onboard, develop, and retain professional drivers who deliver exceptional service. The role emphasizes relationship-building, coaching, and supporting drivers from application through long-term success.

The position focuses on building strong driver pipelines, ensuring a positive onboarding experience, and collaborating with Operations to drive driver engagement and growth within the nation’s largest taxi transportation company.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruiting drivers or field staff
• Ability to coach and develop drivers
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Identify and attract qualified driver candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, community outreach, networking events, and recruiting initiatives.
• Maintain a strong pipeline of prospective drivers to support growth objectives.
• Conduct interviews and evaluate applicants for fit, qualifications, and potential success.
• Represent zTrip at job fairs, hiring events, and community functions.
• Promote zTrip as an employer of choice within the transportation industry.
• Partner with Operations leadership to develop workforce strategies and staffing plans.
• Guide new drivers through onboarding, activation, and documentation.
• Coordinate orientation and training activities and ensure policy adherence.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with drivers to support retention.
• Monitor driver performance and coach for improvement.
• Maintain accurate driver records and track recruiting metrics.
