Job summary

Jacko Logistics LLC in Vancouver, WA is seeking a Driver Relations Manager to serve as a key advocate, resource, and point of connection for our professional drivers. As our fleet grows beyond 300 drivers, you will own the driver orientation experience, resolve day-to-day questions, and ensure feedback is communicated across the organization.

You will spend most of your day talking directly with drivers, coordinating with Operations, Recruiting, Safety, HR, Payroll, Maintenance, and Accounting

Qualifications

• Experience working with professional drivers
• Direct trucking experience strongly preferred
• Experience in operations, recruiting, HR, or fleet-management

Responsibilities

• Own the driver orientation experience from arrival through completion, helping new drivers get started successfully and understand Jacko's expectations, systems, resources, and culture.
• Serve as a primary resource and advocate for our drivers, creating a trusted place for them to bring questions, concerns, feedback, and ideas.
• Communicate with drivers daily by phone, text, and in person regarding a wide variety of operational, administrative, and employee-related needs.
• Build relationships across our fleet and proactively check in with drivers—not just when there is a problem.
• Work closely with Operations, Recruiting, Safety, HR, Payroll, Maintenance, and Accounting to get drivers the answers and support they need.
• Help translate driver feedback back to leadership and other departments so we can identify trends, improve processes, and strengthen the overall driver experience.
• Assist drivers with company technology, applications, paperwork, policies, benefits questions, and other resources.
• Help identify and resolve driver concerns before they become larger retention or operational issues.
• Support driver engagement, recognition, retention initiatives, and company events.
• Maintain strong organization and follow-through while managing conversations and requests from multiple drivers throughout the day.
