Highway Transport Logistics, Inc. is seeking aDriver Manager to oversee an assigned group of company drivers and contractor relations, ensuring safety, training, and performance metrics align with company goals.

The role requires proactive communication to support drivers and organizational objectives. The position is in-office in Philadelphia, PA, with duties including onboarding, pay approvals, performance reviews, and collaboration with HR and safety teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 2 years’ experience in the direct management of personnel preferred
• Bulk transportation preferred

Responsibilities

• Direct line communication and management of drivers
• Interview drivers to ensure duties and expectations align
• Frequent communication to meet drivers’ expectations
• Approve and review driver pay for accuracy
• Ensure driver pay thresholds are met
• Review and discuss safety analytics with drivers
• Assure Transflo scanning is current
• Ensure training certificates and expirations are current
• Manage driver OJT and onboarding checklist reviews
• Complete driver performance reviews
• Meet or exceed budgeted driver count
• Monitor accuracy of driver profiles and schedules
• Speak-ups and People Element survey reporting
• Work with HR & safety regional managers on corrective actions and compliance
• Other duties as assigned
