Job summary

Venture is seeking a Driver Manager to serve as the primary liaison between the company and its professional drivers, ensuring efficiency, safety, and policy compliance. You will oversee a fleet, manage performance, safety, and productivity to meet enterprise goals.

Responsibilities include coaching, maintaining records, coordinating with planners, and ensuring timely ETAs and load plans. Prior experience in transportation or logistics is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year experience in transportation or logistics.
• Associates or bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, or Business Administration, or related field

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with drivers to understand preferences and goals.
• Monitor driver performance metrics and safety compliance.
• Provide coaching and performance feedback; apply disciplinary actions when needed.
• Ensure clear weekly plans and load assignments for productivity.
• Collaborate with Planners, CSRs, and Load Planners for efficient loads and routing.
• Communicate delays and potential service failures to stakeholders.
