Job summary

Hub Group is seeking a Driver Recruiter to source, recruit, and retain qualified Company Drivers and Independent Contractors for nationwide staffing across all terminals. You will build a robust driver candidate pipeline, conduct pre-qualification assessments, and place drivers aligned with Hub Group's goals and operations.

Collaborate with Operations, Onboarding, and Terminal Managers to understand hiring priorities, ensure DOT compliance, and provide a positive candidate experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience.
• Two or more years of DOT driver recruiting experience.
• Extensive knowledge of DOT regulations and CDL classifications.
• Experience managing high-volume recruiting with multiple requisitions.
• Experience operating a high-volume call center.
• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems; Tenstreet preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full-cycle recruiting process for Company Drivers and Independent Contractors.
• Develop and maintain an active pipeline using Tenstreet, referrals, and events.
• Partner with leadership to understand hiring priorities and staffing needs.
• Conduct candidate interviews evaluating qualifications and safety history.
• Communicate expectations, compensation, benefits, and value proposition to drivers.
• Maintain timely communication and positive candidate experience throughout process.
• Coordinate background checks, DOT qualification, onboarding, and pre-employment docs.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and pipeline data.
