Job summary

Beacon Hill is seeking a Recruiting Specialist to join an on-site HR team and drive driver hiring for a growing transportation organization. You will partner with hiring managers, guide applicants through recruiting and onboarding, and manage job postings and candidate communications.

Responsibilities include sourcing candidates, maintaining ATS records, and ensuring DOT documentation compliance while building a strong candidate experience for Class A CDL drivers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required; comparable professional experience considered.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• At least 2 years of experience recruiting and hiring Class A CDL drivers.
• Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and Driver Qualification File requirements.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and recruit candidates.
• Communicate with applicants about openings, responsibilities, benefits, and process.
• Review and pre-screen applications; refer qualified candidates to managers.
• Respond to inquiries via phone, email, text, and other systems.
• Source candidates through online resources, partners, schools, boards, and campaigns.
• Track applicant interactions and notes in the applicant tracking system.
• Maintain candidate pipelines for current and future needs.
• Attend job fairs and recruitment events as needed.
• Create and manage job postings across boards and ATS.
• Coordinate recruitment marketing initiatives, including email and social media.
• Coordinate and manage full DOT hiring process; ensure documentation and compliance.
• Maintain Driver Qualification Files per FMCSA regulations.
