Job summary

Tucker Freight Lines is seeking a Driver Recruiter in the United States to identify and recruit qualified candidates for Class A CDL driving positions. You will maintain positive communication with candidates and use strategies to attract skilled drivers for the organization.

Responsibilities include following up on recruiting leads, managing the CRM, and coordinating with departments to ensure a smooth onboarding process while maintaining safety and compliance throughout onboarding.

Qualifications

• Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Must be a self-starter with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Must have a strong work ethic with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Embraces teamwork and problem-solving in group environments.
• Ability to travel as needed (less than 5%).
• Experience in recruiting and/or sales preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promptly follow up with calls from potential recruiting leads.
• Monitor the CRM inbox for potential driver leads.
• Regularly communicate with incoming leads throughout the hiring process via phone, text, or email.
• Conduct cold calls as needed based on leads through the CRM system.
• Represent the company professionally at meetings, conferences, and events.
• Review recruit backgrounds and advise the candidate of approvals or disqualifications.
• Maintain relationships with recruits after onboarding and do check-in calls.
• Report updates daily to supervisor.
• Ensure safety and compliance throughout onboarding.
• Communicate effectively with other departments.
• Other duties as assigned.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Promptly follow up with calls from potential recruiting leads
• Monitor the CRM (customer relationship management) inbox for potential driver leads
• Regularly communicate with incoming leads throughout the hiring process via, phone, text, or email
• Conduct cold calls as needed based on leads through the CRM system
• Professionally represent the company at meetings, conferences, and events
• Review recruit backgrounds and advise the candidate of approval or disqualifications
• Maintain relationship with recruits after onboarding and do check-in calls
• Report and communicate recruit and driver lead updates daily to supervisor
• Ensure safety and compliance throughout the full onboarding process
• Communicate effectively amongst other departments
