Job summary

MidAmerica Transport is seeking Driver Recruiters to source, screen, and hire CDL Class A drivers. You will manage the full recruiting cycle from lead generation to onboarding while ensuring FMCSA/DOT compliance.

This is a ground-floor opportunity to shape the company's future and reap rewards for reaching goals. Responsibilities include sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, pre-screening CDL experience, coordinating background checks and drug testing, and managing the candidate pipeline

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recruiting experience for CDL Class A drivers.
• General understanding of FMCSA/DOT regulations.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with software including Tenstreet, Paylocity, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Source candidates via job boards, social media, referrals, and events.
• Conduct phone and video interviews and explain pay structure.
• Pre-screen applicants for CDL driving experience and qualifications.
• Coordinate background checks, MVR, FMCSA Clearinghouse, and drug testing.
• Manage candidate pipeline in ATS and schedule orientation.
• Track recruiting metrics such as time to fill and cost per hire.
