Job summary

PAM Transport is seeking a motivated recruiter to attract top driver talent and CDL-A students, guiding candidates from interest through onboarding. You will engage with prospective drivers, manage daily outreach, and help build a strong driver workforce in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

The role operates Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with a pay range that includes base salary plus an incentive program.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated and knowledgeable about the motor carrier transportation industry.
• Knowledge of recruiting and marketing as applied to driver recruiting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to effectively work with others.
• Driven and passionate about helping others.

Responsibilities

• Recruit top driver talent for the fleet and/or CDL-A student program.
• Conduct daily recruiting activities to source new candidates.
• Achieve weekly hiring goals of 2+ drivers and 2–3 students per quarter.
• Field inbound phone inquiries from prospective recruits.
• Enter accurate recruitment activity into the system database.
• Phone screen candidates after applications are completed.
• Guide candidates through the onboarding process from application to hire.
• Schedule applicants for pre-employment drug screens and physicals.
• Coordinate onboarding and school arrival processes with approved candidates.
• Partner with internal departments to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
• Follow safety documentation to ensure DOT compliance.
• Assist with recruitment-related special projects as assigned by leadership.
