Qualifications

• Proven experience in recruiting within transportation or logistics.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field preferred.
• Ability to create and execute recruitment strategies across multiple channels.

Responsibilities

• Work with Operations, Safety and HR to assess staffing needs.
• Create and utilize recruitment strategies including job boards and social media.
• Review applications, conduct phone screenings, and schedule interviews.
• Maintain candidate communication throughout the hiring process and provide feedback.
• Own onboarding process for new hires ensuring paperwork and training completion.
• Stay informed about DOT regulations and industry standards; ensure compliance.
• Maintain recruiting metrics and stay updated on industry trends.
• Be a subject matter expert for driving positions at Midwest Refrigerated Services.
