The role focuses on building a conversion-ready candidate pool to transition to the core Recruiting team for final hiring, while collaborating with Onboarding to ensure a smooth, timely experience for new drivers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required with ability to communicate effectively
• Comfortable with high-volume phone-based work and quick messaging adaptation
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work with minimal direction
• Pre-qualify candidates based on DOT requirements and company standards
• Ability to clearly convey compensation, benefits, and opportunities

Responsibilities

• Execute high-volume outbound cold calling to generate driver interest and maintain a candidate pipeline
• Manage inbound inquiries to convert leads into active candidates
• Follow up with leads via calls, text, and email to sustain engagement
• Work daily call queues and dialing systems to meet activity goals
• Source and engage leads from databases, internet, and targeted campaigns
• Evaluate pre-qualify candidates based on J.B. Hunt and DOT requirements
• Guide candidates through application and pre-qualification processes
• Provide clear hand-offs of qualified candidates to the Recruiting team and support onboarding during peak times
• Maintain up-to-date records of leads, outreach, and candidate status
