Job summary

U.S. Xpress in Gordonsville, TN is seeking a Supervisor, II Account to supervise and develop drivers for assigned accounts, address customer service issues, and ensure on-time shipments. You will promote safety, coach drivers, and coordinate across departments to maintain high service levels.

The role emphasizes proactive problem solving, efficient load planning, and sustaining profitability while maintaining strong relationships with customers and drivers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years operations experience including Customer Service, Fleet Management, or Load Planning preferred.
• Experience in transportation, logistics, and/or supervisory roles is a plus.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations impacting daily operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop all drivers for assigned accounts.
• Address customer service issues and shipments to meet customer needs and demands.
• Proactively promote safety metrics and key performance indicators.
• Coach drivers on performance or behavior using High Performance Coaching.
• Coordinate with Safety, Operations, and other departments to ensure on-time service.
