Job summary

U.S. Xpress Gordonsville, VA is seeking a Supervisor II Account to oversee driver teams for assigned accounts. You will address customer service issues, ensure on-time shipments, and drive safety and performance metrics.

You will coach drivers, optimize loads, and coordinate with safety and operations to maintain high service levels while balancing profitability and driver well-being.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years operations experience including Customer Service, Fleet Management, or Load Planning preferred.
• Transportation, logistics, and/or supervisory a plus.
• Comprehensive knowledge of DOT regulations impacting daily operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop all drivers for assigned accounts; address customer service issues or complaints; ensure all shipments meet customer needs and demands.
• Proactively promote safety metrics and KPIs around service pickup %, deadhead %, assignments per week, and other essential metrics.
• Supervises driver performance to balance business and driver needs.
• Coach drivers using High Performance Coaching to improve performance and behavior expectations.
• Coordinate with drivers on physicals, random drug screens, and CDL renewals; plan driver loads based on availability.
