Job summary

U.S. Xpress is seeking an experienced supervisor to lead drivers for assigned accounts, address customer service issues, and ensure on-time shipments while meeting safety standards.

You will coach drivers, monitor performance, and coordinate with safety and operations teams to optimize service, utilization, and profitability.

A high school diploma and 3+ years of operations experience are required; knowledge of DOT regulations and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years Operations experience including Customer Service, Fleet Management, or Load Planning.
• Strong communication across multiple mediums.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations relevant to daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop all drivers for assigned accounts.
• Address customer service issues or complaints.
• Meet customer needs and demands for shipments.
• Promote safety metrics and KPIs around service pickup, deadhead, assignments, and other metrics.
• Coach drivers using High Performance Coaching.
• Coordinate with drivers on physicals, random drug screens and CDL renewal deadlines.
• Utilize AS400 and XPM for tasks to ensure productivity.
• Collaborate with other departments on tasks.
• Yard duties as assigned.
