Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America is seeking a Supervisory Driver Planner for the PM shift. You will supervise drivers and hauling operations, ensure safety, quality, and DOT compliance, and collaborate with dispatch and maintenance to meet service goals.

Responsibilities include planning routes, managing schedules, processing paperwork, and coaching staff to deliver safe, efficient milk transportation across DFA terminals.

Qualifications

• Supervise drivers and hauling activities.
• Excellent communication with dispatch and teammates.

Responsibilities

• Receive dispatch information to plan hauling; assign drivers and equipment.
• Create schedules, approve time, monitor overtime, and meet goals.
• Coordinate with other locations to reconfigure driver assignments.
• Maintain vessel/milk sampling processes and coordinating with labs.
• Ensure daily paperwork is scanned and filed for retention.
• Coach employees to meet safety, PMO, and DOT compliance; conduct annual reviews.
• Promote safety through adherence to procedures and investigations when needed.
• Work with HR on driver recruitment and development programs.
• Coordinate with maintenance to keep equipment in good condition.
• Support on-call rotations for after-hours emergencies.
