Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America is seeking a Terminal Supervisor to oversee hauling operations, supervise drivers, and ensure safety and efficiency at the assigned DFA terminal in Colorado. The role requires a CDL A license, leadership experience, and knowledge of DOT/PMO/OSHA rules.

Work hours are 6:00 pm to 4:00 am, Tuesday through Saturday with on-call rotation. Travel to other locations within the territory may be required to support operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5 years of distribution, logistics, and/or transportation experience, including 2 years in an official lead capacity.
• CDL A license required and tanker endorsement within 180 days of employment.
• Doubles or triples endorsement as required.
• State issued milk sampler/hauler license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Receive dispatch information and create hauling plans by assigning drivers and equipment to routes.
• Create employee schedules and approve time; monitor overtime and payroll issues.
• Coordinate with other DFA locations to support special needs and reconfigure assignments.
• Build relationships with DFA members at farms to ensure optimal service.
• Manage milk sampling process and coordinate with drivers and lab personnel to ensure sample integrity.
• Ensure daily paperwork is scanned and filed per retention requirements for quality control and billing.
• Provide training/coaching to employees and conduct safety/PMO/DOT compliance audits.
• Promote safety culture and address safety concerns with the safety team.
• Collaborate with Human Resources on driver counseling, recruitment, and development.
