Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America is seeking a General Supervisor to oversee drivers and hauling at the Fort Morgan terminal, promoting safety, efficiency, and strong customer service. This PM shift role includes on-call duties.

The position requires coordinating dispatch, scheduling, payroll, and DOT/PMO/GMP compliance, while partnering with HR and maintenance to ensure asset readiness and ongoing performance improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's preferred.
• 5 years in distribution/logistics/transportation with 2 years in a lead role.
• CDL A license required within 180 days if not current.
• State license for tanker endorsement within 180 days of employment.
• Doubles/triples endorsement as required.

Responsibilities

• Receive dispatch information to create hauling plans and assign drivers/equipment.
• Create and approve employee schedules; manage payroll/timekeeping; monitor overtime.
• Coordinate with other DFA locations to adjust driver assignments for special needs.
• Develop relationships with DFA member farms to ensure optimal service.
• Manage milk sampling process and ensure sample integrity and proper lab submission.
