Job summary

Hogan Transportation is actively seeking an On Boarding Coordinator to support the Recruiting Department with driver onboarding, ensuring pre-employment, compliance, and orientation steps are completed accurately and on time.

This role handles driver onboarding, serves as a main contact for new hires, and ensures a smooth transition from candidate to employee while adhering to DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of administrative experience; recruiting, transportation, or HR preferred.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Confidential information handling with discretion.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and track completion of pre-employment requirements (DOT drug screens, physicals).
• Review and validate CDL information for endorsements and restrictions across documents.
• Guide drivers through online orientation, new hire paperwork, and I-9 completion.
• Facilitate FMCSA Clearinghouse full query and ensure compliance steps are met.
• Maintain audit-ready onboarding documentation and driver contact progress.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
