U.S. Xpress, Inc. is seeking a Driver Compliance Coordinator in Chattanooga to ensure DOT and internal policy compliance for drivers. You will contact applicants, review reports, verify records, and address discrepancies during the hiring process.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and strong communication skills. Collaboration with Recruiting and Driver Orientation is essential to complete evaluations promptly.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral, written, and organizational skills.
• Basic computer and office skills; experience with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all drivers are in compliance with DOT and USX rules and regulations.
• Contact applicants to obtain missing information.
• Review and order reports (MVR, PSP, DAC, Asuriant, Driver IQ Pre).
• Verify background information including driving record and employment history.
• Investigate discrepancies in driver history or applications.
• Review driver physicals and drug screens to determine eligibility.
• Ensure driver files are complete and up to date.
• Identify potential disqualifiers and notify management.
• Collaborate with Recruiting and Driver Orientation to complete evaluations within 3 days.
• Obtain consumer reports and releases as needed.
• Engage with all levels of the organization to harness collective intelligence.
• Attend meetings and trainings; provide input and guidance.
