U.S. Xpress, Inc. is seeking an Orientation Specialist to support driver onboarding across multiple terminals.

You will process orientation documents in compliance with DOT regulations and company policy, coordinating with Medical, PST, EFA, and Onboarding teams. The role includes verifying licenses and documents, assisting with on-site safety paperwork, reviewing tax forms and I-9s, and sometimes traveling to other terminals to cover staffing shortages.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required; college preferred.
• Experience in the transportation industry preferred.
• DOT knowledge of driver requirements preferred; good organization and communication.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently process drivers attending orientation in compliance with DOT regulations and company policy.
• Verify and scan licenses, residency cards, Social Security cards; clip documents to files.
• Assist Medical, PST, and EFA on site; coordinate information to drivers.
• Help drivers correct information on paperless applications and resubmit for verification.
• Assist onboarding specialists with safety documentation and driver applications.
• Review tax forms, W-4, HR audits, and I-9; complete driver documentation in orientation.
• Review Driver Medical Cards and Physicals; organize for driver to carry in the truck.
• Travel and provide remote assistance to other terminals as needed.
• Support driver onboarding during non-traditional hours; communicate with third-party providers.
