Job summary

Greyhound Lines, Inc. is seeking a Driver Manager to lead a team of drivers in a defined area. You will ensure adherence to policies and safety rules, optimize routes, and support drivers to improve performance and job satisfaction, including labour relations, retention, and safety.

The ideal candidate will have leadership skills and a background in transportation or logistics, plus strong problem-solving abilities and multi-tasking strength.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with leadership experience in operations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze data, generate reports, and make data-driven decisions.
• Experience with safety, labor relations, and CBA contexts is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Interviews, selects, trains, and manages the driver workforce.
• Ensures training is completed and retrained per procedures.
• Monitors driver performance and provides regular feedback.
• Plans coverage and dispatch for routes.
• Ensures drivers report on time and in uniform.
• Reports DOT logs and safety metrics; enforces safety standards.
• Communicates with HR on personnel matters and labor relations.
• Manages personnel performance and disciplinary actions.
• Ensures regulatory compliance and proper credentialing.
