Job summary

Werner Enterprises Inc in the United States seeks a Driver Onboarding and Relations Specialist to ensure an excellent driver experience from day one. You will deliver a personalized welcome for new drivers, serve as the single contact during their first 30 days, provide live support, resolve issues, and coordinate with transportation managers to promote retention and smooth handoffs.

The role includes follow-ups at 14 and 30 days, opportunities to improve processes, and autonomy to address

Qualifications

Demonstrated ability to empathetically support drivers and resolve issues promptly.
Excellent communication with drivers and internal teams to ensure clarity.
Experience with CRM systems and standard office software.

Responsibilities

Warm Welcome & Culture Enforcement: onboard new drivers and foster a positive culture from day one.
Liaison & Support: serve as the primary driver liaison across departments to resolve questions and issues.
Action Planning: help create plans with drivers and departments to address concerns.
Follow-Up & Retention: conduct 14- and 30-day follow-ups to support driver comfort and retention.
TM Handoff: introduce drivers to their Transportation Manager with a thorough handoff.
Process Improvement: assist with new processes and training to improve driver experience.
