Werner Enterprises seeks a Driver Onboarding and Relations Specialist to ensure an exceptional driver experience from assignment. You will craft a personalized onboarding, providing a single point of contact during the critical first 30 days and live support to drivers.

Responsibilities include cross-department liaison, action planning, follow-up visits after 14 and 30 days, and a seamless TM handoff. The role emphasizes a proactive, problem-solving approach to equipment, pay, and safety matters.

Qualifications

• Ability to onboard drivers and manage first 30 days in a structured program.
• Serve as primary liaison between drivers and departments to resolve issues.
• Plan and execute action items with drivers and teams.
• Conduct follow-up calls at 14 and 30 days to ensure smooth onboarding and transition.
• Provide warm handoff to the Transportation Manager with comprehensive overview.

Responsibilities

• Execute the initial onboarding process for new Werner drivers.
• Act as liaison between driver and other departments to resolve questions and issues.
• Develop action plans with drivers and departments to address concerns.
• Follow up with drivers at 14 and 30 days to ensure comfort and readiness for operations.
• Provide warm introduction to the new Transportation Manager and handoff of fleet details.
