Job summary

Vail Resorts is hiring for the 2026/2027 winter season in New York for the Transportation Team, including drivers who deliver safe, friendly guest service and operate various shuttle vehicles.

The position offers winter seasonal hours, full-time and part-time shifts, and a starting wage of $20.00–$23.00 per hour with on-site work at a mountain resort and paid training to ensure safety and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum driving age 18+ and a clean driving record.
• Satisfactory driving record is required for transportation roles.
• Know-how of two-way radio usage and basic codes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport guests to scheduled routes and respond to demand.
• Provide helpful information about area, activities and resort transportation.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report issues.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and basic safety checks.
• Other duties as assigned by supervision.

Job Specifications

Job Responsibilities

• Safely transport small or large groups of guests while adhering to scheduled routes and accommodating demand requests
• Ability to drive larger vehicles in all conditions
• Provide exceptional guest service to all guests and equip them with information about the area, activities and transportation in the resort
• Responsible for completing pre and post trip vehicle inspections
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance including but not limited to checking fluids and fueling
• Other duties as assigned

The expected pay range is$20.00/hr - $23.00/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
