Job summary

Vail Resorts in California is hiring for winter seasonal roles including drivers who transport guests safely along scheduled routes while delivering excellent guest service. The team values safety, readiness to handle large vehicles, and knowledge of vehicle maintenance.

The positions offer winter seasonal employment with both full-time and part-time hours, housing available, and a strong compensation package including free passes, ski lessons, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Satisfactory driving record is required.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Must obtain CDL Class A or B with Passenger endorsement within the first 20 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport guests to destinations following scheduled routes and accommodating demand requests.
• Drive larger vehicles in all conditions.
• Complete pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.

Job Specifications

• Starting Wage: $25.00/hr - $30.29/hr
• Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2026/2027
• Shift Type: Full Time and Part Time hours available
• Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age

Job Responsibilities

• Safely transport small or large groups of guests while adhering to scheduled routes and accommodating demand requests
• Ability to drive larger vehicles in all conditions
• Responsible for completing pre and post trip vehicle inspections
• Advanced knowledge of vehicle maintenance, including but not limited to checking fluids, fueling and all safety systems
• Provide exceptional guest service to all guests and equip them with information about the area, activities and transportation in the resort
• Other duties as assigned

The expected pay range is$25.00/hr - $30.29/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
