Job summary

Dauch is seeking an Assembly Operator for the Bowling Green facility. The role involves assembling driveline components and sub-assemblies, reading blueprints, and following production schedules in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, be able to work the 6:00am–2:30pm shift, and lift up to 35 lbs. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred, with focus on quality and safety at all times.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Able to read and interpret technical documents and work instructions.
• Must be able to work 1st shift hours (6:00am–2:30pm).
• Prior manufacturing/assembly experience preferred.
• Must stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual and automated assembly tasks for driveline components and sub-assemblies.
• Operate and monitor assembly equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
• Read blueprints and production schedules; document data and scrap.
• Identify malfunctions and report issues to supervisors.
• Maintain clean, organized work area following 5S principles and safety policies.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and team meetings.
