Job summary

Dauch Corporation is seeking a dependable Machine Operator for the 3rd shift at the Bowling Green facility to operate and monitor production equipment and ensure quality driveline components. You will perform in-process quality checks, maintain records, and follow SOPs and safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout and PPE usage.

You will collaborate with team members to meet production targets and suggest process improvements while keeping the work area clean and organized.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous machine operator experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
• Ability to work on 3rd shift (10:00 PM–6:30 AM or similar).
• Lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate various production machinery and equipment according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Load and unload materials and parts from machines.
• Monitor machine operation, identify and report any malfunctions or irregularities.
• Conduct in-process quality checks using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Maintain accurate production records and complete required documentation.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout procedures and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Perform routine machine cleaning and basic maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets.
• Identify and suggest improvements to production processes for increased efficiency and quality.
• Ensure a clean and organized work environment.
