Job summary

Dauch Corporation seeks a 1st shift assembly operator at our Bowling Green, OH facility to perform manual and automated assembly of driveline components. You will read blueprints, operate equipment, inspect parts, and document production data in a fast-paced setting.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, be able to lift up to 35 lbs, stand for long periods, and work 6:00 am–2:30 pm. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred, with a commitment to safety and 5S.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1st shift hours 6:00am–2:30pm.
• Prior manufacturing/assembly experience preferred.
• Able to read and understand technical documents/work instructions.
• Stand for extended periods (up to 12 hours) and lift up to 35 lbs.
• Commitment to quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual and automated assembly tasks for driveline components and sub-assemblies.
• Operate and monitor assembly equipment safely and efficiently.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and production schedules.
• Inspect parts for quality and conformity to specs; document data (quantities, scrap, downtime).
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions to supervisors.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation per 5S principles.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and team meetings.
• Work effectively as part of a team to meet production goals.
