Job summary

Dauch Corporation is seeking an Assembly Operator for the Bowling Green, OH location to support 1st shift production of driveline components. The role involves performing both manual and automated assembly tasks and reading blueprints to ensure quality in a fast-paced environment.

You will operate assembly equipment, document production data, and work with the team to meet daily production goals while maintaining safety and organization on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual and automated assembly tasks for driveline components and sub-assemblies.
• Operate and monitor assembly equipment safely and efficiently.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and production schedules.
• Inspect parts and assemblies for quality and conformance to specs.
• Document production data including quantities, scrap and downtime.
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions to supervisors.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation following 5S principles.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and team meetings.
• Work effectively as part of a team to meet production goals.
