Job summary

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, be able to work the 6:00am–2:30pm shift, and lift up to 35 lbs. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred, with focus on quality and safety at all times.

Job Description Summary Dauch (formerly known as GKN) is seeking a 1st shift assembly associate for our Bowling Green Manufacturing Facility. This role involves performing various assembly operations to produce driveline components and systems according to specifications and quality standards within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Job Description

• Execute manual and automated assembly tasks for driveline components and sub-assemblies.
• Operate and monitor assembly equipment, machinery, and tools safely and efficiently.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and production schedules.
• Inspect parts and assemblies for quality defects and conformance to specifications, following all proper gaging techniques.
• Document production data, including quantities, scrap, and downtime.
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions or production issues to supervisors.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation in accordance with 5S principles.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and team meetings.
• Work effectively as part of a team to meet production goals.

Required Skills And Education

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• Must be able to work the designated 1st shift hours (6:00am - 2:30pm).
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment preferred.
• Ability to read and understand technical documents and work instructions.
