Job summary

Dauch is seeking a Production Assembly worker for the 3rd shift in Bowling Green to assemble driveline components and sub-assemblies. You will operate assembly equipment, read blueprints, and verify quality while maintaining a safe, efficient workflow.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and be able to work the 10:00pm–6:30am shift. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred, with a focus on detail and reliability in a fast-paced plant environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to work the 3rd shift hours (10:00pm - 6:30am).
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment preferred.
• Ability to read and understand technical documents and work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 12 hours) and perform repetitive tasks.
• Capable of lifting up to 35 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Execute manual and automated assembly tasks for driveline components and sub-assemblies.
• Operate and monitor assembly equipment, machinery, and tools safely and efficiently.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and production schedules.
• Inspect parts and assemblies for quality defects and conformance to specifications.
• Document production data, including quantities, scrap, and downtime.
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions or production issues to supervisors.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation in accordance with 5S principles.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and team meetings.
• Work effectively as part of a team to meet production goals.
