Job summary

Sonic Drive-In is seeking an Assistant Manager to help lead daily drive-in operations and supervise team members during a shift. This nonexempt position requires hands-on leadership to ensure smooth service, guest satisfaction, and adherence to company standards.

You will train and coach staff, manage staffing levels, perform opening and closing duties, handle guest and employee concerns, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, as well as health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• At least six months of restaurant management experience or one year of retail management experience.
• Experience running a restaurant shift without supervision.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local labor and employment laws (e.g., wage and hour laws; EEO laws).
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local health and safety laws and regulations.
• Basic computer, math, and reading skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Problem-solving, multi-tasking, decision-making, leadership, time-management, and conflict-resolution skills

Responsibilities
