Sonic Drive-In is hiring an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in daily drive-in operations and staff training. You will help ensure quality food, a clean environment and a safe, efficient guest experience.

This role emphasizes leadership, coaching and hands-on supervision across the team. The position requires managing shifts, maintaining standards, and delivering excellent service while handling administrative tasks and inventory control.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six months of restaurant management experience (QSR) or one year of entry level retail management experience.
• Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• General knowledge of the restaurant industry or retail operations.
• Effective communication skills; basic math, reading and computer skills.
• Willingness to abide by appearance, uniform and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Manages, trains, monitors and coaches Team Members, Carhops and Skating Carhops.
• Directs employees to meet operational standards in all aspects of food service.
• Open and/or close the restaurant as needed.
• Monitor staffing, inventory and food cost; complete weekly inventory.
• Assist in administrative duties and maintain required documentation.
• Foster a customer-service mindset and address guest requests and complaints.
