Sonic Drive-In in Alabama seeks a General Manager to lead and manage the drive-in’s operations and employees, ensuring a superior guest experience and compliance with company standards. This exempt role reports to the Area Supervisor/Director of Operations.

Responsibilities include recruiting, hiring, training, and coaching staff; managing labor, food, and inventory; overseeing opening/closing duties; resolving guest and employee concerns; and maintaining records and operational reports.

Formación

• At least three years of restaurant management experience (QSR preferred).
• Experience running a restaurant shift without supervision.
• Experience recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and managing employees.
• Knowledge of labor and employment laws.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, leadership, time-management, and conflict-resolution skills.

Responsabilidades

• Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, train, manage, direct, coach, lead, schedule, assign, discipline, and terminate staff.
• Manage staff compensation levels per company guidelines.
• Supervise all drive-in operations to provide an optimal guest experience.
• Oversee opening and/or closing duties.
• Handle guest and employee concerns.
• Plan, forecast, and adjust labor, food, and inventory for cost-control.
• Lead regular team meetings and maintain records.
• Prepare operational reports and manage vendor performance.
• Develop and manage local marketing and business plans.
• Ensure maintenance of drive-in and equipment, and comply with laws.
• Attend to sanitation duties and regular attendance.
