Job summary

Sonic Drive-In in Pineville, Alabama seeks a General Manager to lead operations, manage employees, and deliver excellent guest experiences. This role reports to Area Supervisor and requires hands-on leadership in a fast-paced QSR environment.

Responsibilities include staffing, training, scheduling, cost control, vendor management, and compliance with federal, state, and local laws. The GM sets standards, drives local marketing, and ensures clean, safe operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Three years of restaurant management experience required (QSR preferred).
• Experience running a restaurant shift without supervision.
• Knowledge of labor and safety laws (federal/state/local).
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to train and develop staff.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, train, manage, direct, coach, lead, schedule, assign, discipline, and terminate staff.
• Manage compensation levels per company guidelines and oversee operations for guest experience.
• Lead regular team meetings and maintain records; prepare operational reports.
• Develop, implement, and manage local marketing and business plans.
• Ensure maintenance of equipment and compliance with laws and policies.
