Job summary

Sonic Drive-In is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in running daily drive-in operations. You will train and support employees to deliver quality food, clean and safe environments, and a consistently enjoyable guest experience.

Key duties include directing staff, managing scheduling and inventory, and maintaining compliance with policies. You will also handle opening/closing tasks and uphold Sonic standards of service.

Qualifications

• Experience in restaurant management or retail management.
• Excellent communication and math skills.
• Ability to follow directions and work autonomously.
• Willing to adhere to appearance and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Manages, trains, monitors and coaches team members, carhops and skating carhops.
• Directs and assigns staff to meet service standards.
• Open/close shifts and manage staffing/inventory as needed.
• Monitor and control food cost and inventory; complete weekly inventory.
