Job summary

SONIC Drive-In is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in daily restaurant operations and staff development. You’ll help ensure clean, safe, and efficient service while delivering a great guest experience.

You will lead a team, manage shifts, and uphold company standards. This full-time role offers opportunities for growth, with benefits and performance bonuses after 12 months.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of restaurant management experience (QSR) or 1 year in retail management.
• Ability to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Effective communication skills; basic math, reading and computer skills.
• Ability to follow directions and work with autonomy; strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage, train, monitor and coach Team Members, Carhops and Skating Carhops.
• Direct and assign staff to ensure quality food service meets standards.
• Adhere to employee policies and practices; perform opening/closing duties.
• Monitor staffing, inventory and food cost; complete weekly inventory.
• Assist with administrative tasks and maintaining records.
