Job summary

Sonic Drive-In seeks a General Manager/Operating Partner to lead the drive-in’s daily operations, drive guest satisfaction, and manage a team of assistants and crew.

Responsibilities include staffing, training, cost control, and ensuring compliance with policies and laws while maintaining high standards of service and cleanliness. Expect long hours and a focus on operational excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced studies in business or restaurant mgmt preferred.
• 3+ years of restaurant management experience, preferably in QSR.
• Experience running a restaurant shift without supervision.
• Knowledge of labor laws, health and safety regulations, and basic accounting concepts.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, onboard, train, coach, and supervise assistants and staff.
• Manage compensation per company guidelines and cost controls.
• Oversee all drive-in operations to ensure guest satisfaction and quality standards.
• Handle opening/closing duties and daily readiness tasks.
• Produce operational reports and maintain records.
