Job summary

Sonic Drive-In is seeking a General Manager to lead daily restaurant operations in a fast-paced environment. You will train and support Crew, Carhops, and management to ensure top-quality service, safety, and cleanliness.

You will oversee staffing, scheduling, inventory, and reporting to drive profitability and guest satisfaction. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of restaurant management experience, familiarity with shift supervision and labor laws, and the ability to work irregular hours,

Qualifications

• Must have strong leadership and supervisory abilities to train and coach staff.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to resolve issues effectively.
• Experience with recruiting, interviewing, and selecting staff; manage scheduling and payroll
• Knowledge of federal and state labor laws; basic accounting and computer skills

Responsibilities

• Direct and coach crew, carhops, and management team to meet service standards.
• Prepare schedules and adjust staffing to optimize operations.
• Monitor inventory and place orders within budgets.
• Open/close the restaurant and generate operational reports.
• Develop and implement marketing plans to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
