SONIC Drive-In in Rockford, IL is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in running drive-in operations and to train and guide crew members to deliver great guest experiences.

You will oversee opening/closing duties, scheduling, inventory, and compliance with policies, while coaching staff to maintain service quality, food safety, and a clean, welcoming environment for customers.

Formación

• Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• General knowledge of the restaurant industry or retail operations.
• Minimum of six months of restaurant management experience (QSR) or one year entry level retail management experience.
• Effective communication skills; basic math, reading and computer skills.
• Ability to follow directions and supervise others independently.

Responsabilidades

• Manage, train, monitor and coach Team Members, Carhops and Skating Carhops.
• Direct and assign staff to ensure food service meets standards.
• Adhere to employee policies and practices.
• Perform opening and/or closing duties.
• Monitor staffing levels, inventory and food cost control.
• Complete weekly inventory as needed.
• Support administrative tasks and documentation.
• Foster customer service focus and respond to guest requests.
