Apex Companies, LLC is seeking a Drinking Water Associate Project Manager for its Northeast Division, based in Quincy or Woburn, MA. This hybrid role offers opportunities to grow in water/wastewater engineering while expanding into project management.

Relocation assistance may be available for New England moves. The candidate will bring strong design experience, technical writing skills, and the ambition to oversee projects, coordinate with sub-consultants, and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of water or wastewater systems design experience in a professional services environment
• Strong technical writing skills required
• PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordination, and execution of projects
• Maintain budgets and monitor performance weekly
• Develop scopes, fees, and schedules with sub-consultants
• Lead technical coordination across design disciplines and subcontractors
• Manage project budgets and staffing under PM oversight
• Provide input for annual reviews and mentor junior staff
• Prepare proposals with technical approach, schedules, and fee estimates
• Coordinate client meetings and presentations for project deliverables
