Job summary

Apex Companies seeks a Water or Wastewater Project Manager to lead design projects for New England clients, including treatment facilities, pump stations, and distribution systems. Hybrid work options available in Greater Boston, Providence, RI, or Glastonbury, CT.

Role emphasizes technical leadership, client liaison, and mentoring staff. Relocation support and a $10,000 sign-on bonus are offered. Annual pay range is $130,000–$155,000, with bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical or related Engineering discipline and 8+ years of related water or wastewater design experience, including project management experience.
• Registered Professional Engineer or other Professional Registrations as appropriate for their primary field of expertise in State(s) where Apex does work or ability to obtain same by reciprocity is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and communicate effectively with clients, staff, subconsultants, and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Manages project implementation with assigned project team and oversees status updates.
• Develops proposals/scopes of work and budgets for Principal approval.
• Directs technical staff and provides training and mentoring.
