Apex Companies, LLC is seeking a Drinking Water Associate Project Manager for its Northeast Division. The role blends project management with water/wastewater design, and offers growth into leadership while operating in a hybrid model based in Quincy or Woburn, MA.

Relocation assistance may be considered. The ideal candidate has a strong water engineering background, an eye for schedule and budget, and the ability to take on technical leadership on complex projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field.
• PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• 5+ years of water or wastewater design experience.
• Driver's license with clean record.
• Technical writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing projects.
• Monitor budgets and performance on a weekly basis.
• Develop scopes, fees, and schedules with sub-consultants.
• Develop technical solutions for complex projects and ensure quality.
• Assist in all aspects of project scope development and execution.
• Report progress and identify additional work beyond contract scope.
• Lead construction administration tasks and attend meetings.
• Mentor less experienced staff and contribute to annual reviews.
• Prepare proposals with schedules and fee estimates.
• Maintain discipline quality control and design basis documentation.
• Coordinate client meetings and prepare presentations.
