Job summary

Patterson-UTI Drilling Company, LLC in Fruita, CO is hiring a Floorhand/Motorhand to join our drilling crew on a 14 days on / 14 days off rotation. You will work 12.5 hour shifts outdoors in varying weather, maintaining mud systems, assisting with rig up/down, and following safety procedures.

Starting pay is $32.50–$34.00 per hour with per diem and comprehensive benefits. Candidates must have Derrickhand experience, be comfortable at heights, pass pre-employment tests, and communicate in English.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of Derrickhand experience on a drilling rig.
• Twelve (12) months of stable related work history.
• Comfortable working at heights (50 ft or greater).
• Ability to read, write and speak English; follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain mud systems and related equipment.
• Assist with rig up/down procedures and daily housekeeping.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE at all times.
• Support crew and adhere to shift rotations and instructions.
