Job summary

Clayton Homes is hiring a Home Consultant in Nevada to guide customers through selecting floor plans, options, and coordinating construction. You will drive showroom traffic, set appointments, and demonstrate features to create a compelling home-buying experience.

The role emphasizes relationship-building, team collaboration, and ongoing training, with a compensation plan that includes a $50k base salary plus lucrative commissions and a comprehensive benefits package. Saturdays required.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of relationship-driven B2C sales preferred.
• General understanding of the retail environment.
• Ability to obtain appropriate manufactured home sales licensing.
• Learn and comply with legal requirements for sale of manufactured homes.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work Saturdays.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Ability to walk the lot and show homes in all seasons.
• Ability to move and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Subject to criminal background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Create a world-class home buying experience by helping customers identify a floor plan and select options.
• Coordinate the construction process and oversee customer progress.
• Set appointments by converting ad calls and web leads.
• Demonstrate homes and features to buyers to add value.
• Participate in sales meetings, training, and company events.
• Prospect and follow up with potential buyers to drive showroom traffic.
• Assist with merchandising and showroom appearance as needed.
