Job summary

Marriott Jacksonville Downtown is seeking a Room Service Server/Busser to join the on-site dining team. You will set up and deliver food and beverages, assist with banquet service, and help maintain sanitation standards throughout shifts.

A positive guest interaction style and the ability to lift trays and move carts are needed. The role emphasizes teamwork in a fast-paced hotel environment with opportunities to contribute to guest satisfaction and hotel operations.

Qualifications

• Hotel or hospitality experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly with guests.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and deliver all food and beverage orders per standards.
• Conduct floor sweeps and retrieve trays to maintain sanitation.
• Prepare VIP amenities and service hospitality suites per policy.
• Complete shift side work as required by hotel policies.
• Respond to guest needs and relay to supervisor for service recovery.
• Handle cash responsibilities following company procedures.
• Maintain punctual attendance and regular availability.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
